I. Shipping & Local Pickup

Do you ship to Australia?

Yes. We specialise in delivering premium wellness tools to customers across Australia, shipped directly from our production base to your door.

Do I need to pay for shipping or taxes?

No. We offer free shipping on all orders over $70 AUD. All applicable GST and customs clearance fees are included in the listed price -- what you see is the final price.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are dispatched within 1 business day of confirmation.

How long will delivery take?

Once dispatched, parcels typically arrive within 7-15 business days. Full tracking is provided for every order so you can follow its journey.

Can I collect my order in person?

Yes. We offer Click & Collect for local Melbourne customers. Select "Pick-up" at checkout and we'll notify you by email when your order is ready.

Pick-up orders are prepared in a minimalist ready-to-use format -- your tool and the signature linen pouch. Custom wooden gift boxes are not included for pick-up orders.

II. Returns & Policies

What is your return and exchange policy?

As a clinic-based brand, we hold the highest standards of hygiene and care for every client. Because our meridian tools are personal, skin-contact instruments, we are unable to accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges once an item has been dispatched. We kindly ask that you review your selection carefully before placing your order.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy -- please contact us at info@baicaotangwellness.com.au within 5 business days of receipt and we will make it right.

What if my item arrives damaged or goes missing?

If your tracking shows "delivered" but your parcel hasn't arrived, or if your item arrives defective, please contact us at info@baicaotangwellness.com.au within 5 business days. We will work with the carrier or provide a solution to make it right.

III. Material Authenticity

Is the green colour of the wood natural? Has it been dyed?

Completely natural. The deep green tone and distinctive grain of our Green Sandalwood (Bulnesia arborea) are the result of the wood's own organic chemistry -- no synthetic dyes, no lacquers. Because each piece is raw and uncoated, colour and grain will vary naturally between tools. No two are ever the same.

Why are there tiny white crystals or colour changes on my tool?

These are hallmarks of authenticity. Fine white crystals ("spinning") form when the wood's rich resins crystallise in a closed environment. A shift toward deeper green is a natural oxidation process. Both are signs of premium, high-resin Green Sandalwood -- not defects.

Is Green Sandalwood sustainably sourced?

Sustainability is a core principle. We source our Bulnesia arborea from responsibly managed partners. Choosing a durable, long-lasting sandalwood tool is itself an environmentally conscious decision.

Where can I buy authentic BAI CAO TANG products?

To guarantee quality and authenticity, we sell exclusively through our official website and our Melbourne clinic. We cannot verify the authenticity of products purchased from third-party platforms.

IV. Product Care & Usage

Can I use the tool on wet hair or skin?

With care. To prevent the wood fibres from swelling, always wipe your tool dry immediately after use. Avoid soaking, and keep it away from direct sunlight or high heat to prevent cracking.

How do I clean and maintain my tool?

We recommend neutral botanical oils such as Jojoba, Camellia, or Argan oil. Jojoba is our favourite -- it closely mimics the skin's natural oils. Apply a small amount to a soft cloth and gently wipe the surface to clean and maintain the wood's natural lustre.
